This is the first time, first time. I’ve never painted for fun. I really enjoyed it, a lot of fun. Very relaxing. You’re a great teacher, Evergreen. -Daniel W.

It was so much fun. You are a fantastic and creative coach. All were inspired by your welcoming, encouraging, and inclusive attitude. It was  amazing to see everyone truly enjoying themselves and having their inner artists break out to the canvases. Class was great for all ages. You rock! p.s. Forgot to mention how organized you were with instructions and supplies. Truly awesome” -Coco

“It was such a pleasure taking a class with Evergreen. I loved her personal story about art and her Mom, and it made me connect with her so much more. I loved how the class provided direction, but it was loose and you could do whatever you want and be free to connect with other people in the class. Thanks so much for hosting Evergreen! We can’t wait for the next one! The beer and staff at Eppig were amazing too!” -Brita

“Evergreen, you are an inspiring and encouraging teacher. It was a really fun afternoon. It was so amazing seeing the variety and creativity that you brought out from all of us.”  -Nancy R.

“Thank you so much for hosting that amazing experience! I had a lot of fun and really enjoyed the creative aspect of being able to go off script and paint something else. The community felt very welcoming and supportive. Thank you so much again.” –Sophia J.

“The instructor, Ms. Evergreen, was fantastic– funny, friendly, and helpful. You could tell she’s very enthusiastic and passionate about art- the way she conducted the class, the amount of art supplies and quality of the materials! My grandkids and I really enjoyed the very inspiring experience! What a great way to spend time with family, friends and complete strangers that became friends by the end of the event. Thank you so much for your hospitality and preparing such a wonderful event. A truly unique experience! Highly recommend the class to anyone.” -Margaret

“When someone says, ‘let’s do art’-I’m hoping they mean let’s get a coloring book and a box of crayons. “Making art” is outside my comfort zone. After a two-hour Art to Thrive class with Evergreen, that has completely changed. The experience with her is about having fun, tapping into our creative side and celebrating whatever results. There is no wrong or bad art when you learn and play with Evergreen. How many instructors encourage you to get up halfway through and have a dance break? Some in the class, like myself, didn’t follow the directions and that is totally OK. There were students aged 6 to 66. Everyone left with a creation to be proud of. Evergreen’s passion for art and her own unique enthusiasm is the energy that drives the process; it’s inspiring and infectious. I’m happy to display my finished canvas in my home. It will give the observer something to ponder, and it brings me back to a cherished afternoon where I became an artist!” -MaryLou

“Brushes & Brews was an amazing experience. Seeing everyone’s creations provided a beautiful and thought-provoking insight into the minds of different people, capturing emotions, stories, and perspectives. Each piece felt deeply personal yet relatable. Adding to the experience, Evergreen was super entertaining as a teacher telling stories and guiding us with wisdom, humor, and an understanding of artistic expression. Her passion made the learning process just as impactful as doing the art.” –Whitney
